In November, my husband and his brother made the hard decision to sell the cows. We have all known it was coming, but have been holding off until the last possible moment. I call it bittersweet because now we will have more time as a family. Until now, it was nearly impossible to plan family outings, or to just stay home and do nothing at all, TOGETHER.His grandpa started milking cows on that farm in the 1940's. Steve's parents took over the farm and made a living milking until 1983, when Steve's dad, Gerald passed away. Since then, Steve, his two brothers, and mom have carried on and operated the small family dairy farm. Here are a few pictures from the last night of milking...
